Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Manyara national park.
You will meet and greet our driver guide in Arusha at the hotel/airport, who will later give you a short brief about the safari to these 2 destinations. You start the tour by transferring to Lake Manyara national park in the north western part of the country passing the Maasai steppe area.
It is well known for having a concentration of animals such as the tree-climbing lions, elephants, also flocks of flamingos attracted by algae in the lake. The park got its name from Lake Manyara because most of its part like 2/3 are occupied by this lake. The lake is mostly referred to as Soda Lake and therefore you will spend a full day game viewing as you take photos.
Day 2: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater and back to Arusha for departure.
You will descend to Ngorongoro crater – a place most concentrated with wildlife in the world and it is approximately harbouring over 30,000 mammal species including the black rhinos which are one of the most endangered mammals in Tanzania.
Among other animals you can find in this park are wildebeests, elands, zebras, buffalos, hippos, elephants and warthogs. Also, the park is a home for big predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, leopards which sometimes need a keen eye to spot. Have your picnic lunch in the crater and afterwards transfer back to Arusha which will mark the end of this 2 Days Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater Safari.
