3 Days Zanzibar Stone Town Tour itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar.
On arrival at Abeid Amani Karume international airport, you meet and greet with your Zanzibar guide and be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight. When you arrive during the day, you shouldn’t waste any time. So, after relaxing, you will proceed for Stone town where ancient buildings and forts beckon. Visit the Beit-EL- Ajaib known as the House of Wonders built in 1883, it’s one of the oldest buildings here.
From there you will visit the Sultan’s Palace Museum which was a residence of the Sultan’s family. Here you will realize, one of the amazing sights of Zanzibar where there are two breeds of people, the bosses who sit on the doorsteps of their shops and the ones who carry. Day 2: Stone Town Market bazaar, Spice Plantation and Nungwi beach.
Have breakfast overlooking the ocean, ahead of the rewarding market walking excursion that you are about to undertake. On this tour, visitors are exposed to amazing historical and contemporary places that make this iconic city truly vibrant; including jewelry and craft shops, local markets selling mainly organic fruits and vegetables, and a blend of Arab-Indian –African / Swahili culture.
Take a Swahili lunch in the heart of Stone Town, and afterwards proceed to the Spice plantations to learn about the different spices such as cloves, ginger, cinnamon and how they are used as food for natural healing and medicine. From there, you will transfer about 2hour drive and hit one of the sun kissed beaches in Nungwi to end your day with a sunset sailboat.

Day 3: Beach exploration and departure.
