6 Days Uganda Adventure Safari

In this 6 Days Uganda Adventure Safari, you will trek the Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park as you watch out for some of the attributes and behaviors that qualify them to be our relatives, head for a game drive and boat cruise at Kazinga channel in Queen Elizabeth then enjoy the fun in Lake Bunyonyi with its 27 islands.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth N/P

After enjoying a very delicious early morning breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up from either the airport or your hotel then proceed to brief you about what you should expect during the six-day experience. The 6-7-hour drive passes through a very interesting route with a lot to see such as the rolling hills, plantations, and scenic view of the water border. Upon reaching the Queen Elizabeth national park, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Head for a Morning Game Drive and afternoon Boat Cruise

On this day, you will wake up early in the morning only to be served with a very fresh breakfast before heading to the wilderness for a 3-4-hour ultimate challenge of looking for the different animals in the wilderness such as herds of elephants, Uganda Kobs, lions, buffalos, waterbucks, impalas, warthogs, and hippos among others.

Queen Elizabeth is one of the most visited national parks in Uganda with unnumbered variety of game and animal species; it is a very interesting destination open for everyone when the drive time is done and dusted, have lunch at either the lodge or wherever before proceeding to for a launch cruise in Kazinga channel, a home to a large school of Hippos, crocodiles, birds, and animals that come to clear their thirst, return for an overnight and dinner.

Day 3: Explore Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi

Early in the morning, wake up to a very healthy breakfast, then check out of the lodge for yet a very thrilling activity, Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park situated a few kilometers from queen, the drive will be through the Ishasha sector where you will watch the climbing lions resting on the tree branches and thinking about the next move to take plus many more bird species roaming across the forest.

When you have sighted the gentle creatures upon the tree branches, enjoy your lunch hour meal and embark on a journey to the northern direction of the park, the Buhoma sector where you will have dinner and overnight as you wait to track the gorillas the following day.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking at Buhoma sector and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

On this day, you will wake up very in the morning to catch-up with Gorilla trekking expedition in the Buhoma sector that commences with a briefing session at 8:00 am. The park rangers will be taking you through the dos and don’ts while trekking the human relatives before accompanying you to the jungle in quest for them.

This whole activity can last for up to 4hours depending on your fitness as well as how far the primates have gone, one hour is yours to study the creatures, take photos and write down some notes. When this is done, head back to the lodge, have lunch and checkout for a drive to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 5: Full day exploring Lake Bunyonyi

Early in the morning, relax and enjoy the beautiful sound of the birds. After breakfast, get into a canoe and visit some of the twenty-seven islands all with significant history. This lasts for up to 6hours, only coming back to rest, take selfies and retire to your bed.

Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala

Enjoy your morning breakfast, and check out of the lodge for a departure to Entebbe international airport. The route will pass through Kisoro- Kabale, Mbarara-Masaka-Kampala route reaching in the evening, yet sighting very interesting and eye-catching features such as mountains, water bodies to mention but a few.
