Details

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi national park

Our Driver guide will be happy to pick you up from Kigali international park or your hotel apartment, thereafter, he will brief you before driving to Bwindi Impenetrable forest which is among the few destinations in the world hosting Mountain Gorillas, with others being, Mgahinga Gorilla Park, Volcanoes National park in Rwanda and Virunga National park in DR Congo.

The journey will commence with a simple city tour as you visit the craft market as well as the Genocide burial memorial cites, have lunch before proceeding to Bwindi passing via Katuna border post, thereby crossing very scenic views of the rolling hills, water bodies, and plantations. Upon reaching the park, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Encounter

After an early morning breakfast, our driver-guide will drive you to the sectors headquarters where you will have a pre-trekking briefing and document verification by the park rangers before proceeding to the jungle where the ultimate exercise will take place, this exercise starts early at 8 am local time and can last for up to 3-4 hours depending on how fit you are.

When you get them, one hour will be yours to use for interacting, studying and taking photos. you will need to possess enough drinking water, you are good to go because the tracking can sometimes be long and tough,

After lunch, head for an encounter with the Batwa pygmies who will present to you some cultural performances such as dance and tell you very interesting stories and their history, upon completing, head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Explore Lake Mburo National Park from Bwindi forest

Leave Bwindi early morning after breakfast, and drive for about 4 hours until you enter Lake Mburo National park; you will thereafter head for a game drive where you will get the chance of encountering numerous wildlife mammals such as the impalas, beautiful zebras, buffalos, eland, Oribi, Deffassa waterbuck, hippos, topis and hyenas among others, home to 350 bird species.

Thereafter, have lunch and relax while enjoying a boat cruise as you sail through the lake and grabbing the sights of aquatic animals; return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Drive to Entebbe International Airport

After having a very delicious early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe for your return journey but first, have a stopover at the equator for photography and lunch thereafter. Proceed with the journey to the Airport.
