4 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Serengeti National Park
Your driver guide representing our company will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Arusha and transfer to Serengeti National Park located in northwestern Tanzania. Serengeti is the most famous and oldest national Park in Tanzania known for its great wild best migration as well as sheltering the highest number of wild animals in Tanzania.
Day 2: Full day game viewing
You will spend this whole day enjoying game viewing in Serengeti National park. Wake up early and drive to the open savannahs of the park for game viewing. Expect to see lots of wild animals including Topis, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Zebras, Elands, Waterbucks, Hartebeests, Elephants, Buffalos, Black rhinos, Lions and Gazelles.
You will have bush breakfast and picnic lunch to enjoy your meals along wild animals also feeding in the wilderness.
For birders, Serengeti National park is home to over 500 bird species, which make it the best spot for bird watching. The birds in Serengeti include Kori bustards, Grey breasted sparrow, Fischer’s lovebird, Southern Ground hornbill, Yellow billed stork and Secretary birds among others.
Night game drives offer chances of spotting nocturnal animals. Other travel experiences in Serengeti National park include nature walks, community visits, camping and hot air balloons.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro National Park
In the early morning, have an optional game drive to see animals you missed the previous day. Have a relaxed cu of coffee at your lodge, check out and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area which also entails the Olduvai Gorge.
You will reach in the afternoon; check in, refresh and go for an evening game drive to catch-up with grazers and predators feeding before retiring for night rest. Ngorongoro conservation area is one of the natural wonders of the world.
Day 4: Game Viewing & Departure
Rise up early and drive to the floor of the crater for scenic game viewing. You will see a variety of wild animals such as wildebeests, black rhinoceros, Giraffes, Hippos, Zebras and Lions among others.
Other attractions in Ngorongoro Conservation area include Ndutu Lake, Oldupai Gorge Museum where the remains of early human beings were discovered. Return to the lodge for lunch, refresh, check out and drive to Arusha for you connecting flight. This will mark the end of your 4 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater Safari.
