Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi-transfer to Tsavo west national park
You will be welcomed by our tour guide who will take you to Tsavo national park which is one of the largest and oldest national park in Kenya covering an area of 13,747sqare kilometres. It is located in the semi-arid area and recently referred to as the Teru Desert. The park is located near Voi town, taking about 7 hours’ drive and distance covered is 426kmfrom Nairobi.
This park is a home of large mammals such as herds of red elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, lesser kudu, waterbucks among others and also over 500 species of birds are recorded such as ostriches, kestrels, buzzards, starlings, weaverbirds secretary birds, hornbills among others. On the arrival at the lodge, you will check-in, shower as you wait to be served with your dinner.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Tsavo west NP
You will take a full day exploring the beauty of Tsavo west national park through game drive which will expose you to most of the animals such as rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, lesser kudu, waterbucks among others. Over 500 species of birds are recorded such as ostriches, kestrels, buzzards, starlings, weaverbirds secretary birds, hornbills and much more.
Day 3: Game drive and travel back to Nairobi
You will take a short game drive to get a chance to spot the missed animals in the park and later proceed to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be dropped at Jommo Kenyatta International airport or your hotel room in Nairobi. This will mark the end of your 3 Days Tsavo Wildlife Safari
