Day 1: Transfer to Bukavu through Rwanda-Congo border
Your 3 days Kahuzi-Biega trip will begin with pick up from a hotel or Kigali airport by your professional driver guide. On a journey of 7 hours, drive via Nyungwe Forest National Park and this will include lunch break. After, cross over via Cyangugu (Rusizi I) border to Bukavu in the DR Congo.
Day 2: Lowland gorilla trekking
Have an early morning cup of tea or coffee from your respective hotel/lodge. Later, transfer to briefing point in Kahuzi-Biega National Park to get to know the Eastern Lowland gorilla trekking etiquette. Begin your trekking adventure as soon as you are assigned to a gorilla family and park guide from Kahuzi-Biega national park.

Day 3: Drive from Kahuzi-Biega NP back to Kigali for 7 hours

Your trip will include en-route visit to the King’s palace in Nyanza, Butare Museum then you set off to Kigali for lunch. Later, your driver will drop you off to Kigali airport or a hotel.
