Detailed Tour
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After enjoying your first meal of the day, our driver-guide will pick you up for the journey after a brief briefing about the whole safari, this seven to the eight-hour journey composed of eye-catching features such as hills, local crafts, green plantations, natural architectures and many more.
Upon reaching Nakasongala, you will have a stopover for at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you have an opportunity to track the white Rhinos on foot; these are so rare mammals and found in not so many countries. Thereafter, you will have lunch before proceeding with the journey to your lodge; have dinner and overnight while waiting for the next day’s activities.
Day 2: Enjoy Game Drive and Boat launch
The main activity this day will be traversing the wilderness of Murchison falls national park in a safari vehicle in search for the early morning risers going to the plains for grazing. whereas the nocturnal wildlife will be clocking out. The wildlife to encounter include, these include lions, elephants, Giraffes as they move through the grasslands, Jackson’s Hartebeest, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Elephants, and Waterbucks and many more. After registering a 2-4hour success, you will return to the lodge for lunch before heading for an afternoon boat launch where you watch different animals along the shore and continue to about ten meters from the bottom of Murchison falls, see the hippos and crocodiles relaxed in their homes.
Day 3: Nature walk and Chimpanzee trekking in at Budongo Forest
After a hefty morning breakfast in the morning, you will drive to Budongo forest, East Africa’s oldest Mahogany forest, located on the edge of Murchison falls national park. It is home to several primates and birds that will welcome you to their jungle with sweet melodies and remarkable nature walk in search for them is worth a trial.
The driver-guide will take you to the starting point where you will receive a briefing from the ranger guide. Thereafter, have a picnic lunch before heading for a wonderful chimpanzee trekking experience to meet some of the fully habituated chimps in the forest.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala
On this last day, either have an optional balloon ride in Murchison falls N/ park, but this depends on your flight schedule. Return to Entebbe/Kampala thereafter. In case you reach the city early, it will be important that you tour the city, like visiting the museum and Craft village to purchase some local souvenirs for memories.
