In this 3 days’ safari to the wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park (True African wilderness), expect to encounter fascinating Savannah landscape, beautiful sceneries, several mammals such as lions, ostriches, elephants, giraffes, Buffaloes, warthogs, zebras and many more. You will engage in game viewing, cultural encounter, and nature walk in the Park ranked as Africa’s finest wildness offering tourists experience beyond their expectations; it is located in Northern Uganda in the semi-arid area of Karamoja. You can also choose to fly instead of spending the majority of your valuable time on the road.
Day 1: Pick up and departure to Kidepo Valley National Park for Afternoon Cultural encounter
After early morning breakfast, our company representative will meet you for a briefing session to tell you everything that will transpire during the three days’ adventure. Thereafter, he will drive you to Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi airstrip to get a chartered flight that will fly for approximately 1-2hrs.
Upon arriving at the park and checking into your lodge, head out to the Apoka viewpoint to watch the mammals such as the water bark, zebras, elephants, and buffaloes graze. Enjoy your lunch meal then spend the rest of your afternoon interacting with the local Karamojong communities who will excite you with their unique history and local dance.
Feel free to join in the dance, buy souvenirs and donate where possible. When all is done and dusted, return to your lodge for a mouth-watering dinner and a peaceful slumber
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and afternoon Nature walk
Early in the morning, rise up for breakfast and set off to Narus Valley for an ultimate 3-4 -hour game drive in quest for early morning risers heading to the field and the night watchmen returning from duty, these include the warthogs, Buffalos, Zebras, elephants, and several antelope species such as the Jackson hartebeests, waterbuck and many more. If you are so lucky, then expect to see lion hunting, leopard, ostrich, and many more unique primates.
The park is gifted with beautiful rolling plains recommendable for photography and filming. Return to the lodge for lunch before going to have a nature walk experience along the Kidepo valley river with plenty of Borassus palm trees, unique bird species and several other plant species. Spend your day off at the lodge with dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Depart Kidepo for Kampala/ Entebbe
Wake up to an early morning game drive, before flying back to Entebbe International Airport. Upon reaching, you will drive to Reptile village to watch the different reptiles such as snakes, Chameleons and many more, Drive to Entebbe airport for your outbound flight.
