This 3 days Trip to Lake Mburo National Park is the most rewarding safari offer one can ever think of taking. The park is the nearest to Kampala city, a 3-4-hour drive thus an ideal destination for those who don’t fancy long distance drives or have minimal time allowance from their busy schedule.
Though it is the smallest savannah national in the country, it offers visitors a chance of spotting a wide range of hidden treasures in the wilderness such as zebras, buffaloes, impalas among others. The lake itself hosts vast schools of hippos and crocodiles on its banks that relax all day long.
Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo NP
Our professional guide will gladly welcome you for this most memorable 3-day safari, starting by briefing you about the entire trip before getting behind the staring wheel and passing through the rolling plains, green plants and plantations way through to the park using the Kampala Mbarara route.
Incase time allows, have a stopover at some local craft shops along the high way, thereafter proceed to the park for lunch at your lodge. Afterwards, go for a boat ride and experience this mythical lake and get exposed to several aquatic animals such as crocodiles not forgetting the school of hippos. After this encounter, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Thereafter, return for breakfast before embarking on a journey to Kampala, but with a stopover at the equator to witness a magical demonstration at the point where the equator crosses.
Take some photos before proceeding with your drive to either Entebbe international Airport or Kampala.
